Holy nostalgia, batman
I absolutely just went back and reread every journal entry I ever made on this here DA (there aren't many--I was a livejournal person and in my heart I will always be a livejournal person). Excited to announce that I didn't feel compelled to delete any of them, but there are so many old character details that have now been retconned into oblivion. Also, love the old broken custom layouts and shoutbars. Forgot what those were. I made this thing seventeen years ago, when I was seventeen. Oh, yikes. Oh, where has the time gone. Oh, how did this happen. There aren't very many people left who were active when I was also active (so many comments from deleted accounts), but if you were, hello! And if you're new, hello! I'll be putting stuff up here from time to time, because I quite like DA's NFT/art theft checker and I do not like NFTs. This is going to be a quick-and-dirty rundown of the state of all these characters and things, since the core of my DA has been original art. DIRTY LIFE:

Publication is slated for fall 2021; Linda Camacho at Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency represented the author.

dA as a site causes me some slight problems (viruses on my PC and too-slow-loading on my Mac), which means tumblr is a quick and dirty way for me to show progress. Doesn't mean I won't upload finished projects here, but you'll see more there.
I'm working on the first novel that I intend to do something with (edit it, first of all, and query it, second of all). Yes, it's about Iz. Yes, it takes place in the 1920s. Yes, it's o
$5 Drawings/Fundraiser for My Family--please look!
For anyone unaware, late on November 30, my dad was assaulted by a stranger. He sustained a TBI (traumatic brain injury--skull fractures, bleeding on the brain, brain swelling, and the removal of part of his skull), which has left him, though not paralyzed, largely unresponsive and seriously brain damaged. We won't know what his future holds until about a year has passed, but he was retired, my parents had only just filed for divorce, and the complications of that means that his funds are on lock--and those funds used to go to my education, as well as my living expenses for sustaining my education. I used to live off his social security but I
